Frisco congratulations on achieving six years of success! You were one of my early 'go to' people after my surgery and you soon became one of my heroes?. Why? Because you lived what you learned and told us the truth. I'm glad that you were forthright and purposeful in providing direction. You never let us off with doing 'alright'. You helped us aim high and get there. I still believe that for the majority of us, if we want to get to goal and take a good shot at staying there, your path is the most likely to achieve that.
It was so inspiring to see posts almost daily from people reaching their ideal/goal weight! I don't see a lot of those posts anymore, and that's a real shame. It is fully achievable for most of us and it should be accomplished as quickly as possible when restriction and lack of hunger are optimal. And while maintaining over the longer term is still the ultimate goal, I've noticed that it seems to most frequently go hand in hand with actually reaching a goal weight to begin with.
I'm about to celebrate my three year anniversary, and I'm incredibly grateful to you for sharing your learnings so that I could also experience this level of success. The struggle remains real, and who knows where I'll be at six years out, but what I've achieved so far is one of the most meaningful accomplishments of my life. Thank you for your guidance and continued inspiration!
