Is it possible to lose over 100 pounds with the VSG?
I've lost 140 and I'm 19 months post-op. I still lose weight when I follow my plan.

Yup, totally did it. At the one-year mark, I was down by 140lb, which was 100% EBW and took me to a BMI of 23.5.
When you see "average" statistics, remember that it includes people who are super-dedicated to staying on track, AND the people who are completely non-compliant and continue to eat crap.

I was 430ish the first week of June, and I lost about 65lbs since my surgery June 22nd, and I'm only a few months out. My weight loss hasn't slowed yet.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
