I was sleeved on 9-30-15 so I am 3 days post op. The biggest problem I am having is with the gas pains. Man do they hurt!! Been walking a lot and just started taking Gas X Strips today. This pain cant leave fast enough. I am not really having any issues with the new stomach or the incision areas. I am struggling to get all my fluids in but I am working at it. The members on this forum have helped be prepare for this life change with all there insight. Thanks again!

I was sleeved on the 30th, too! I second the gas pains. Definitely use gas strips or chews and walk, walk, walk. I have found a heating pad to be very soothing to my belly as well. The only incision to be causing me pain is the one where they removed my stomach, to the right of my bellybutton. I have found it to be challenging as well to get my fluids in. I just constantly have some sort of drink on the go and sip, sip, sip. Good luck to you as you continue the healing process!

I was sleeved on the 28th.

Not a huge problem with gas.

I have problems with the shakes, uggghhh

Just keep trying. You dont want to dehydrate and end up back in the hospital.
