I am two weeks since surgery and I have stopped losing weight....thoughts??
I had VSG on 9/9 and I was down from 227 to 202. I started back on pureed food or food that I have chewed to the point that it is like its pureed and I have stalled. Is this normal? I am rowing for 20 minutes every day and obviously I cant eat much and I dont understand why I have stopped losing any weight and this morning I got on the scale and I gained a pound!! Does anyone know why this is happening?
Stalls are perfectly normal especially in the week 3 time frame. Track your inches lost. I could always tell I was losing inches even if the scale was not moving.

Stalls are your body's way of telling you not to get too cocky.

Yep, I kept having to tighten my belt and punching holes in my belts so I did not have to keep buying new ones.

Search "3 week stall" using the magnifying glass icon in the upper right-hand corner of the OH screen and you will get lots of information about it.
I am a recovering scale addict! For this reason and for the frustration I KNOW I will let myself fall into if the scale doesn't move, following surgery I am giving my scale to my sister to "keep" for me. I will only weigh once- a-month and let other factors tell me whether or not I'm losing.
Once I hit maintenance, I will revert to that scaleaholic but that will be only to ensure I stay within my maintenance window.

Rowing seems way too intensive for your core this close to surgery. Is your surgeon okay with that?
The weight stall is happening because that's how this works. You won't lose weight every day. Sometimes you'll stall. Weight fluctuations suck. :/ But, hey, you're normal!
