how do you feel?
I'm 2 years out in 2 weeks and for the past year have felt really "normal". I maintain well and I eat what I like in small quantities focusing on protein first. Still do at least one protein supplement per day. I eat some small sweet treat almost daily, (Dove Ice Cream nugget, handful of dark chocolate almonds always something small) so I never feel deprived. I was seeing the doc at least quarterly for med\BP checks, now I hardly ever go. My labs were good as of a year ago and I'll get tested again at my annual physical in a week. I exercise daily and if my weight creeps up 5 pounds, I scale back the treats for a few days till it comes off. I'm in the best shape I've been in in 25 years at 49! That said, occasionally, (less than once per month) I eat something that just doesn't agree. Typically it's related to quantity, not quality. This is the only time I'm aware of my small stomach. I absolutely cannot over eat. Eat too much too fast, (I'll probably puke even at 2 years out). It's a really good deterrent to losing control!
