Are you sticking strictly to plan and getting enough water? How often are you weighing yourself? At the same time of day and under the same conditions?

Yes same plan I've been getting in all my water I can only reach 600 calories on a good day and I get in most of my protein from food. Weighing morning right after my shower no clothes. The ounces are slowly adding up to pounds. At first I was like ok it's that time of the month maybe it's jus****er but that time of the month done past and it hasn't come off just gained another pound

I know it's discouraging but I would try to hold off the urge to weigh myself again until a week later. Sometimes the scale doesn't move the way we want it to, right away, but you are losing inches. If you are doing everything according to plan then it has to start coming off eventually. Do you track your food and water via a site like MyFitnessPal? If I saw more gains after tracking and being 100% on-plan for 2 weeks, I would probably check with my doctor for advice.

My next appointment isn't until the 1st that will be a month if I start losing again by then I'll just leave it alone but if I'm still gaining there has to be something wrong here. I just started my fitness pal last week that's how I know I'm slacking on my calories I just can't eat that much. This suck😔and I'm dying to go to the gym but I'm not cleared yet. It's hard to stay off the scale when u seriously aren't allowed to do anything yet not even work lol

I gain 2-3lbs when I go into a true stall, then I drop that weight plus extra when my stall breaks. I don't change anything in my routine when I stall, since what I'm doing has brought me tremendous success in the 6 months since surgery.

One thing to do during a stall is track your measurements - when the scale stops, I lose inches, and that's even better IMO ;)

It's water weight gain - pure and simple.  It's best you find out your pattern around this now.  Evidently during your time of month you're going to retain a ****ton of water.  A half-gallon of water weighs 4 lbs.!

I'll bet you $5 that about a week after your period that excess water leaves your system in a hurry and you'll see a big drop on the scale.

Don't let this freak you out...but remember it's YOUR pattern and be ready for it every month.  Don't let those numbers on the scale dictate your mood cuz lots of stuff makes the needle move in crazy ways.

P.S. Don't worry about calories - worry only about getting enough protein, carbs less than 40 grams per day, and at least 64 oz. of water a day.  Drinking more water will help push the excess water out.

Don't worry, I gained 4 lbs at 3 weeks and held on to it for a week, then I lost it. I was so upset about it, but it came off
