My First Surgiversary - 222 Pounds Gone Forever!
I turned 1 year old today! :)
What a whirl-wind year. I can't believe it's been a year already, and on the other hand that it's only been a year. I'm down 222 pounds in 365 days. What?!?! That doesn't even make sense. I feel great; never better actually. I've traveled: France, UK, Monaco... all the while fitting in EVERY airplane seat and not getting hate shamed by passengers or crew. I've worked out almost everyday without fail (save for 1 day "off") and I've tracked every exercise movement. I've kept a food journal for the entire time; never missing a single bite in my daily logs.
And today, I cheated for the first time. I took 3 sips off of a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte and had 1/4 of a Sprinkle's Cupcake.
What a difference a year makes!

Your only cheat in a year was a sip of latte and a bite of cupcake? That's amazing! Three months post-op, I ate a whole bag of my grandson's Goldfish in less than an hour. You would have to eat junk food for at least two days to equal the junk I've managed to scarf down over the past 7 months. But 98% of the time, I'm very careful. I'm still losing steadily, but I have a new role model now -- YOU!
Congratulations! And Happy Surgi-Birthday!
