One Year Today
So one year ago today I had my surgery. What an incredible year. The toughest were the first three-four months. I really had to get a handle on my stress eating. It was the best time to do it since I couldn't eat much. Now I'm very aware of what I'm feeling and when I have unexplained hunger. It doesn't go away, the best I can do it learn to recognize it. It helps me now that I'm at goal.
So here are some numbers:
Surgery weight 306, current weight 187.6 (high weight 336)
Pants - 46" now 34"
Shirt 19.5" now 16.5"
Funny one shoes were EEE now D.
Sport jacket 54P as in portly, now 44R, probably could get into a 42 or 43.
Anyway, I check back here daily and try to encourage people and learn from veterans. Great site and I really appreciate everyone on here.
Great job! I am just starting my journey. 2 week pre-op liquid diet tomorrow and surgery on October 8th. Sure is nice to hear your success story! Hopefully in a year or so I'll have one of my own to share!

Great job. Looks like you and I have the same starting weight and goal weight. I too went down from a 46-48 and am wearing a 34. It is an awesome journey. Now that you are I maintenance, make sure to still track your meals and continue with the plan. I find that maintenance is a little harder than the loosing part. Now we need to find a happy medium where we can sustain current weight plus or minus a few Pounds on each side. My goal weight was 195 and currently am weighing in at 184. I feel my range will be 184 - 190. Keep up the great work.
