While walking around the tailgate area before the Notre Dame football game last weekend, I heard a kid saying, "Hey babe...Babe! ... BABE!" and felt a tap on my shoulder. He meant ME! He handed me some green beads while saying something, he smiled and called me "babe" again. I'm a "ma'am" not a "babe" but I took it. It totally counts! It was my 51st birthday, and I told my friends (who witnessed it, thank God) that he must have mistaken me for a college kid.
