Needing help w/ weight gain

I am 4 yr 5 months post op.  I'VE been on hormone shots for 3 months now and gained 26 pounds.   I need the hormones and need to loose the weight too.   Frustrated.

What, exactly, are you eating every day?  Are you weighing, measuring, and logging your foods using something like MyFitnessPal?

Yes tracking food.  But not measuring. Lots of high protein meals.  I lost 12 lbs on shakes and bars.

If you are not measuring, how do you know how much to input when you are tracking? We tend to underestimate how much we are actually eating. A few extra calories a day can add up to a big gain in a year.

You are right.  What do you allow yourself to eat at each meal?

I eat six meals a day and limit them to between 200 and 300 calories.  I stay at 1400 calories a day to maintain 136 pounds.

If I did not weigh and measure it would be easy to get those six meals up to 1900 calories a day and I would start gaining a pound a week.

I also weigh myself daily.
