Got sleeved on Monday!

The pain for me went away by day 6...not totally but do so much better still a bit tender n on day 8 but can get in n out of bed even lay on side now...so vast improvement.  I have been on hot cereals or yogurt three times and at 2/3 T and one protein shake a day sip between meals 2/3 oz.  I got to add egg,coot age cheese, refried beans as of one week post op have tried egg twice done fine with it but mostly have had oatmeal.  Good luck...

3 pounds is nothing! I gained 12 in the hospital. By the end of the first month I had lost that and an additional 23. Give yourself time to adjust, but I would guess that by the end of next week you'll see a substantial drop on the scale.

I was also sleeved on Monday 09/14, so far 15 pounds lighter, how is your process going???

Not including the three a gain after surgery 8 pounds and 26 total total since my pre-op diet. 😆

Awesome! I lost 10 pre-op, so I think 25 pounds all together....Its exciting, but I'm hating the liquid diet, how are you doing with that??

I was sleeved on Tuesday day after you. It my Dr has me on a totally different diet...clear liquids first two days then started 2-3 T of oatmeal,sf Popsicles n sf jello...I can hacpve any hot cereal made runny or Greek or lifpght yofpgurt I eat three meals of this a day and only one protein drink per day you sip on between meals with 32 oz water daily.  I've not had any problems eTing the oatmeal or yogurt...already had to go to bathroom...and no problems getting liquids in so far ...I'm down 11.4 pounds so far and still swollen I can tell but weened off pain meds none at all today and only one yesterday.  Good luck...it should be fun to see how we all do since diets are different...and we all have different amounts to lose I started wanting to lose 70 so down to 59.
