all I keep on repeating in my head 

is OMG!! OMG!!! OMG!!!!

over and over

im sure I'll be a nut by the time all is said and done...

my biggest concern is developing water seroma's after surgery

since I had them with my c-section and had to be packed every other day 

for weeks on end then self heal..he put my mind at ease about that.

i didn't enjoy either the 1 drain I had for the VSG so 4 or 5 will be fun! Fun!

but in the end, I know I have to do this...and once it's done...its done!

I'm mentally preparing myself for pain since he will have to tighten muscles (thanks twins!!)

and im extremely susceptible to anesthesia...so I am prepared that I'll be "out of it" for a couple days

and pain killers will enhance that!

i love that they called you the Knitter! I wish I had that skill!!

Its so exciting right! When are you getting yours done? I am going January 6th with Dr. Sorokin in Cherry Hill. I think we had the same bariatric surgeon as well..Sowemimo/Procurat?

Yes they are all wonderful! Then my surgery is meant to be if its on your bday too! I first was looking at going to Capella as well but wanted to stay closer to home. If you need a good primary, Dr. Suen's wife (Fiola) who shares the office with him is an AMAZING primary doctor. She really knows what shes doing, and is just as humble and sweet and SMART as Suen. I have to wait til after the new year to take some time from work or else I would be in the office next week LOL. Good luck and keep in touch!!!!

Yes. Dr.Fiola worked ,at one point , in my PCP's office..

way before i started my VSG journey and I had her once 

she is a very sweet and knowledgeable Dr..

Is he going to extend the arm lift/breast lift to include a bra lift around toward the back?  That's what it takes to get that extra skin from the upper-to-mid body gone on the back side.  The LBL doesn't really cut it back there.

will kind of look like

a U shape going under the breast up to the armpit...

can you believe I was in Walgreens looking a non stick gauze 

for after the surgery!! LOL

i had to stop myself from buying it....SMH!!!

Dear Grace-

Dr Capella is a great dr.  His father, Raphael, was a pioneer in the RNY surgery.  He did my son's RNY in 2001 and young Dr Capella, Dr Joe, assisted.  I know others here have had their plastic work by him and are thrilled with the results.  You will do well and we are all here cheering for you.
