Finding humor in the dreaded STALL!

When I made it thru the "week 3 stall" still losing, I said 'hallelujah! I am not gonna stall!"
Then came week 4........ For 6 days I have stared at 179.9 lbs on the scale.
This morning, as I hopped up on the scale and it didn't change, truly I had to laugh. In all my years of gaining, losing, trying to maintain, gaining, losing.....and on and on..... Never could I have managed to stay the same weight, especially right down to the freaking Ounce, no matter how hard I try. And now that damn ounce won't budge. I found it funny :)
I'm sticking to my plan, staying focused, and feeling fabulous. The scale will move.
Maybe it's waiting for me to go out and get smaller pants..... Kinda running out of options that fit in the closet! :) we shall see what tomorrow brings 👍🏻
That's a great NSV!
I freaked out a bunch of times when I hit a stall - there were multiple stalls my 1st year.
But eventually, I gained confidence in my doctor's diet and exercise guidelines.
I finally gained faith that - what worked before the stall, would start working again.
Don't mess with the plan! :-)

When I hit my first and only stall. My laugh was that I didn't have to change my weight in my signature daily. Now that I am only losing 2 pounds a week, it is not such an agrevation. Oh the problems we face :)
Remember before surgery, if you had a stall like that, you would have had something off limits to eat and the next few days you didn't gain.....which means you would have lost weight. Now, we don't have a choice, you gotta keep going.

What a great attitude to have about stalls! No one, but no one, can boast of a smooth, steadily declining line during the weight loss phase. I haven't had any gains, but my losses vary from steep to moderate to none (stall). Show me a WL graph with a straight line, and I'll show you someone who's a bit crooked.
As you said, you'll soon break the stall. I had a 3-week stall in July (surgery was in February), and though the scale did not budge, a pair of capris I wore a lot went from tight to loose. So something was still going on even if the scale didn't show it.
