New to the Forum
I have been a silent follower of this forum for about six months. I have enjoyed reading all the success stories that members have had with the sleeve. I appreciate the honesty in the opinions given for those that are considering the sleeve and ones that have already had it done. By reading the journeys that most members have gone through has helped me make the decision to have the sleeve done myself. I will be having mine done on 9/30/15.
My journey starts in about 2 weeks. Am I nervous? Scared? Worried? Absolutely!! For me a lifetime battle of being overweight has taken its toll and I am ready to become healthy. I am blessed that I have a wonderful support group at home. Thanks again to all the members of this forum for your insight.

Happy you came out of your silence! My surgery is on 10/8/15 so we will be going through this journey close together. I'm scared, worried, excited, hopeful all rolled into one as well but I know we are making the right decision. Can't wait to hear about your progress!
