I completely agree with what Tracy posted! I'll add what my plan was, although I know everyone is different. My doctor required three meals and three protein drinks a day. He said that doing this would optimize weight loss. I drank a lot of Isopure Zero because it was like water and didn't feel heavy in my tummy like protein shakes.balso, drinking that I got a double whammy...protein and fluid in one.  Good luck!

The pros here have written advice worth taking. My only addition -- I lost 30+ pounds in the first two months post-op, but it was from complications, dehydration, and illness after surgery. Fast weight loss isn't always the great thing it's said to be. Given the choice, I would much rather have lost it more slowly but healthily. Count your blessings! If you're eating the way you should be, you're losing fat, no matter what the scale is telling you.
