Monday is the day I get sleeved.  Gulp.  Time for them to take the good drugs out .... Hopefully a year from now I can laugh at how anxious I am feeling.   I am so lucky to have such supportive friends and family.  Wish me luck !!!!!

You'll probably be laughing long before that as the pounds fall off.  Good luck!

I had my surgery Monday, August 31st.  I was so nervous going in.  I went in at 9 and my surgery was at 11.  I thought it would be 2 hours of straight panic but it really wasn't.  When you get in they get you settled and you change.  They put in your iv and you talk to the doctor, the nurses and the anesthesiologist.  This guy is your friend!  haha.  After talking to the dr. and signing off on your surgery this man will ask you if you are nervous and you will wake up 2 seconds later in recovery.  The pain is minimal and easily managed.  If I had to do it again tomorrow I wouldn't blink!  I've lost 13 lbs since (1.5 weeks) and am getting better at getting all my liquids in.  Other than a bit of insomnia (hence why I'm posting here so late hah) I feel amazing!  I wish you all the luck and the best and quickest recovery so you can start your journey to your new you!!!  Please post so we know how you are doing.  Take care, Tracy

Tomorrow (Monday 9/14) is my sleeve surgery as well!! I have great support (my wife is over 1 year out from hers) so I'm confident everything will be fine.

Best of Luck to us both !!
