Eighth month Surgiversary..... 99 pounds gone!
Eighth month Surgiversary today! I am so in love with my sleeve! I really wanted that loss number to be 100 today, but no way would I complain about 1 pesky pound. I know I am not done yet and it will happen soon.
I have had so many NSV's since I started. I am almost 67 years old and can do things I haven't done since my teenage years. I crossed my leg yesterday without even thinking about it... I climbed the bleacher steps last night without huffing and puffing.... I can reach my purse or adjust my seat while riding in a car. Before I asked my other half to lean over and grab it for me....I can-do so many things I can't even remember them all. Clothes sizes are shrinking, and shopping is fun again. I am not even out of plus sizes yet but it doesn't bother me. I will be soon!
For those just starting, don't get discouraged. For those with me and ahead of me, keep on following your plans and reach your goals. I know I will.
Congratulations on your weight loss and your wonderful NSV's! :-) Kay

Wow. You are doing great. Congratulations on all your NSV's and weight loss. I had my VSG when I was 64, and I was just a little heavier than you when I started, so I feel a strong connection to your story and your joy with your success. Great job working that sleeve. And the best is yet to come. Congratulations
