I had a patient today (that did not know me when I was MO) say to me today "I wish I could be skinny like you" - SKINNY! I also heard today - "you are looking so tiny" (from a co-worker) and "you are wasting away to nothing" (from a patient that did know me when I was MO) and "you better not turn sideways or we won't be able to see you" (from another patient that also new me when I was MO). Yesterday a former patient came back for a visit and didn't recognize me! Yippy - it is working! I am so close to a normal BMI now that I can taste it (of course that taste is high protein, low carb and low calorie). I would love to be at a normal BMI for my next appt. with my surgeon (Sept. 22) but not sure I will make it since I will be having another unrelated surgery this next Friday and my activity will be stalled for a bit.
Congratulations on your success. And approaching a normal BMI! That is fantastic.
I remember the first person who called me skinny. It made my day!
best wishes,
Carol
