Keep on keeping on
I'm just about 4 months out from surgery, and I'm nearly 60 pounds down. I'm sitting at a weight that I haven't seen since my son (who will be 14 in October) was a year old. For the first time, I really feel like I *can* do this. My ankles and knees aren't hurting anymore. My "skinny" clothes are getting too big. I have all of one bra that actually fits me (where did that even come from?? Why was I saving it? LOL) I actually *want* to be active! I'm heading to Disneyworld with my girlfriends next month, and I won't even need to get a seat belt extension! I'm still obese, but I'm far less obese than I was in April. And it will just keep getting better!
One day at a time - I don't always make the right choice, but I usually do. I think what's really funny is how my favorite foods have gone from things like chocolate and ice cream to things like watermelon and zucchinni. Who does that??? LOL
Just wanted to share my excitement with some folks that would understand :)
Wonderful!!
