I am about 3 weeks out.  I found the first 2 weeks the most difficult, including the preop diet.  It is much easier now.

Head hunger is difficult.  Even at this stage for me it comes and goes.  It is completly related to stress for me.  Luckily, since I'm 11 months out I have options.  I eat two bunches of celery per week which satisfys my need to eat somehting with no impact on nutrition to speak of.  At your stage, I drank water and/or took a walk when I felt hunger.  Stick with it, you will enjoy the benefits!
