70 pounds down
and half way to goal! At 4 months post-op. The sleeve really does work if you follow your surgeon's plan. I have slipped up a couple of times (That cheese Whopper with a bun was mighty good.) but I didn't beat myself up. Just went back to plan afterwards.
If you are pre-op or or newly sleeved, know that if I can do it, anyone can. My Mom told me I started gaining weight when I was about 5. I don't even remember when I passed through the mid 100s in high school. I did lose about 50 lbs on Weigh****chers in my 20's but of course I regained it. After that I didn't even try to diet. The decision to have the surgery came when I could hardly walk due to knee pain, which disappeared after I lost about 15 lbs. You can see that I didn't lose very much pre-op but was able to detox from carbs and sugar and diet Pepsi once I had the surgery. Put your faith in yourself and trust your sleeve to get the results you want.
Great post! You are doing so well. I appreciate your positive attitude.
Best wishes,
Carol
