Lol - Yes, it can be done! :) I know it sounds strange until you've experienced it yourself, but the virtual lack of hunger is amazing. I'm about 1.5 years out from my surgery, and the idea of eating 3 cups of food in a day makes me gag just to think about it. The key is to focus on lean protein first, use protein shakes to supplement (especially for the first few months), and drink a ton of water. I generally eat something every 3-4 hours, so I maybe eat five mini-meals rather than three main meals. Different surgeons have different recommendations. Go for it! You'll be so glad you did!! :)
YOU NEED TO EAT MOSTLY HIGH PROTEIN FOOD LIKE FISH , CHICKEN
my plan allows 2 snacks and veggies are required, beside protein( my plan calls for a balanced diet 80 gm of protein
I eat 4 oz of protein and 4 oz veggies a meal , without the veggies you will get constipated
protein shakes are necessary the first 6 months or so till you can eat the required amount of protein without them
Greek yogurt is a good snack , or breakfast
Yes, You can do it. The first month or so its a challenge getting the protein and water in, but we just do our best and we get there.
In terms of the three tiny meals a day... I couldn't believe it when the nutritionist first told me what was expected. But I gave it a try and with a lot of determination, I was able to eat to plan for three months before surgery. I lost 50 pounds before surgery and got accustomed to eating in the right way. I'm really glad I was able to do it.
It is so worth it to try. I lost 225 pounds and went from a tight size 5x to a medium/size 14 now. This weight loss surgery really works. You can do it too. There is much to be hopeful about.

Yes, yes, yes......it can be done!! Do you have a nutritionist? I try and consume all my protein thru actual meals and not shakes. Have you looked foods up to see the amount of protein in them?? You will be surprised. Premier protein was big for me post op! Look into it....tastes good and packed with protein.
