Has anyone done the 5 day pouch test?
It's no different than any other fad diet. Best to just get back to basics with dense proteins.

Never done it. Never will. I understand the premise behind it, but really all you need to do is a heavy carb and sugar detox to accomplish the same thing.
I find that if my restriction seems to be waning and my hunger is ridiculously annoying that means I've been eating too many refined carbs and sugars. A three day hard core detox is in order. What that means for me is going to lean dense proteins, healthy fats and vegetables and lastly, nuts. I do not worry about "losing weight" during those three days. Those three days are devoted to eating as much of those foods and pounding down as much water as I can. When I wake up on Day 4, I'm "RESET" - restriction is back, hunger is normal, and cravings have vanished.
If you need to test capacity, I recommend baking a large chicken breast until it's rather well done and somewhat dry. Weigh it and then eat as much as you can comfortably minding very closely to when you feel your "full" feeling. Take the left over chicken and weigh it. The difference will give you your capacity for lean, dense protein.
Great recipes for both reset and capacity check !!!!
