Very Irritable

These, self-righteous,do-gooders may not have been around long enough to know the back story and history of some of these poor, "picked-on", posters.  The "picked-on" poster may have sent a private, name calling, message to several of the folks *****sponded to him/her.  The "picked-on" poster may have been told 100 times how to solve their issue, REFUSES to research the facts, or follow the rules , but continues to complain, daily.  The poor, misunderstood, sap might be spreading inaccurate information that can cause a newbie physical harm and NEEDS to be corrected.

Maybe rather than becoming a forum nanny (after one month of membership) and telling all of us meanie-pants vets how to post, Happy HealthyHeather should just stick to what she knows, post in her own style, and let others do likewise!!!!!

This wasn't meant to upset anyone.  It was to get a point across.  Don't come here and ask for advice and start whining because it doesn't suit what you wanted to hear.  I am just as new to this way of life as the next newbie, but when I need help/advice I want someone to be truthful.  I misunderstood what a fatty liver was caused by and was corrected.  Did I cry, nope.  I learned to make sure I am giving correct information.

Again THANK YOU VETS for being kind enough to come here even though you have reached/exceeded your goals and give people like myself real advice.  Much love to you all~

I ate something on day 4 that was horrible.  I got chewed out by the veterns, my sister and my daughter came over to the house.  My husband called a prayer line for help for me.  I needed all the feedback. I was in tears of anger and disappointment in myself.  I didn't have restriction, and had head hunger, and thought that a tiny, tiny bite would be okay.  Instead it was a whole piece of toast.  Now that I have restriction, I can only eat 2-3 ounces at a time.  I am very appreciative of the help I got here on the boards. I knew I was going to be chewed out, but I was scared of the consquences of my actions.

While I 1000% agree with your post, I do find that sometimes advice is given while being totally unsolicited and against doctor's orders...at least that has been my experience. I spent a good, long time lurking on there forums pre-op to know not to ask silly questions, but I do feel that people can be quick to question your plan if theirs wasn't exactly like yours. For example, I was allowed soft, solid foods since Day 2 (as per nutritionist, doctor, and surgeon). Some users were very quick to point out how they couldn't believe it and that it was likely wrong, etc. Point being - always follow doctor's orders first and if you have a generic-type question, perhaps search the forums first and see if you get the answers you seek.
