Complication a few years out... any similar symptoms out there?
For a little while I have noticed increasingly worse stomach aches and nauseau after eating at times and also associated with BM (sorry, tmi). Made an appointment 2 weeks ago and got in today. By this past weekend I can't eat without a pretty nasty stomach ache and throwing up. I went to the bariatric clinic and they immediately called up a gastro doc and set an appointment for me tomorrow. Just wondering it anyone out there had something similar. The doc said today that in rare cases intestines could twist even in sleeve patients, or an internal hernia, or whatever it might turn out to be. I am 2.75 years out. Anyone out there with something similar?

Any chance it could be your gallbladder? Mine didn't present with the textbook symptoms and yours could be the same way. Good luck with your appointment.

Hmmm, I was worried. I read your last post "I go both ways. I keep it down if I can, but I have a ton of experience with puking unfortunately and can tell when it is just time to throw in the towel. This doesn't include the times that there is just no stopping it..."
You throw up alot since being sleeved? This is so not normal if so and if so should have been checked as soon as it began. This is a dangerous practice!
Please keep us updated - please.
Best
I have thrown up a lot since being sleeved, but most times due to the medication associated with the cancer treatment.

I do. Since this original post I was referred over to a gastric doc. They tentatively diagnosed it as an ulcer and started me on the meds for it (Prilosxec, 40 mg twice a day, antibiotics are started from my Mohs surgeon due to an infected biopsy site). I have an endoscopy tomorrow and they are going in to see what is going on. In the meantime, I reverted back to a full liquid diet and between that and the meds I am already feeling a ton better. Keeping my fingers crossed it is an ulcer that responds to the medicinal 2 week course of treatment.
