Best place (and best price) to get B12 shots?

Texas and California sleevers, any recommendations on a good source to buy B12 shots? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Instead of getting shots, I buy sub-lingual dissolving pills at Trader Joe's.  $8 for 100.  My blood test at 3 months showed that my B-12 level was off the charts.  You might want to consider the pills instead of the shots.

Thank you Mary! I'll definitely look into that.

Mary is right! Get a sublingual B12. They are quick dissolve and very easy to manage. The 500 mg size virtually disappears in seconds. My favorite brand (based on flavor and rapidity of dissolution) is Nature's Bounty. CVS carries it.

I'm pretty sure injections are prescription only. With my insurance, the copay would end up being about 10 times more than the sublingual B12 I get over the counter.

Thanks everyone, looks like the pills are the way to go.

I wish I would have bought B12 while I was in Mexico for my surgery, I was told they'd take me to the pharmacy but we were just too tired.

Do vitamin pills irritate your stomach in any way? I know that iron constipates but I haven't read anything about b12.

Ferrous iron can be constipating, but most of us take carbonyl which doesn't have those issues.

We need the sublingual b12, so pills irritating your stomach is a moot point for that vitamin. I don't have any problems tolerating my vitamins but I  can get constipated from the calcium if I slack on water.
