Anyone else experience very little weight loss after VSG surgery?

You're not the only one to discover that they needed more than restriction to lose weight.  There are many on the revision and failed wls boards with the same problem.  We are not a one-size-fits-all society, contrary to what many try to put us to.  While some of us will find our answer with a tool for satiety much sooner, there are many more that really need to kick their metabolism in the pants much more than the small amount the VSG gives.  You may want to consider a revision to the DS along with a possible re-sleeve if needed.

Sorry to hear that you didn't experience the results you expected.  Have you honestly evaluated what you've been doing post surgery?  Have you changed your eating habits?  Do you measure/weigh your food?  Do you track what you eat?  Do you eat protein dense foods first and limit starchy carbs?  Do you drink at least 64 ounces of water per day?  Do you incorporate exercise into your lifestyle?

As others have suggested, it might be a great idea to contact the center where you had surgery and ask them for guidance.
