IMfp adds calories to daily allotment when I excercise, do you go by the new calorie alotment?

I only let MFP add in half the calories it wants to add in. I may eat some of those calories but typically not more than 100-150 no matter how much I exercised. For example, I went jogging this morning for about an hour. MFP wanted to credit me 600 calories but I only let it put in something like 290, and of those ate back 130.

I never trust caloric estimates.  Not to mention, if you're eating calories that you've "earned" from exercise, what's the point in exercising?

Typically no, I'm not looking to consume any of those calories.  I work to meet my protein goal.  Then loosely my calorie goal second.  I'm not looking for excuses to eat.  If I had to have half a banana before a tough workout, then so be it.  I know I need some fuel some times - like today's run.  It didn't equal extra snacking.

Hope that makes sense :-)

No. I never eat back my exercise calories. Most of us here who successfully maintain our weight loss long-term do not.
