When to start vitamins after VSG

Hey everyone! I was just wondering when you can start taking chewable vitamins after surgery? Are they okay to take during the liquid phase?

After you get of hospital. The important thing is protein to feel fine.

My surgeon said two weeks, the ASMBS says right away. I'd check with your surgeon.

VSG on 08/04/15

My surgery was on 8/4 and I started on chewable vitamins and chewable calcium on 8/6. I ate very small bites, chewed well, and have had no problems. Good luck.
