I'm starting to feel better now
Wow them first couple of days after getting home are very rough but I think I'm feeling much better I'm so happy I havent had to vomit because I know that would hurt badly. I was a little worried about drinking because until this afternoon I really was having a hard time even sipping. I was able to get 32oz of water today and 4oz jello and 6 oz of Gatorade two 8 oz shakes not much more than that though. I'm hoping I can continue to sip and never get dehydrated I don't want to have to go back to the hospital again. That is my biggest fear.
Happy you are starting to feel better..I vomited about a week or so after my VSG and you are right...It did hurt! Sounds like you are getting those liquids down...Take advantage of your honeymoon stage, it goes by faster than you think...I don't see in your blog where you are walking though. Remember, sip, sip, sip...walk, walk, walk!
Glad you're feeling better! Walk and sip as much as possible and you'll continue on the road to recovery.

Glad to hear the worst is over. It sounds like you're getting more liquids down, and that's great! If you find that queasiness is keeping you from getting enough liquids, call your surgeon and ask for Zofran or similar anti-nausea med. That's where I went wrong in my recovery -- didn't call for help soon enough and landed back in the hospital. You're right -- you don't want to have to go back there again. Good luck.
