12 days post op, increased pain
for the past 3 days I've experienced an increase in abdominal pain. Not sharp pain, about 4/10. It feels like increased pressure in my abdomen. And occasionally if I bend, there is a pinching pain. I had none of this pain prior to 3 days ago. Could it be the nerves of my stomach regenerating? An internal hernia? Regular old healing pains?
i called my surgeons office yesterday, and they suggested going to the ER. However, this doesn't feel like an emergency. I have not had to take any pain meds since I've been home. But the last 2 nights I've had to take oxy.
im still able to get in my shakes and water. All of my plumbing seems to be working normally.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I forgot to add: it feels better if I hold my abdomen when I'm walking or riding in a car.
If my surgeon's office told me to go to ER, I'd probably suck it up and go to ER :/ Did they give you an option of scheduling early this coming week?
