Hello good people!

Im not sleeping well. Infact last night I was up 6 times with tingling and burning in my legs. I had this problem pre-op.

I'm also walking further than I was Pre-op...but lose to the end of my walks my legs start to cramp, tingle, burn, and go numb...very unsettling if you are walking because I feel like I could fall over.

any ideas for relief?

I have RLS restless leg syndrome and I had this problem too my told my sleep doctor because I would be up all night moving my legs because that was like my only relief he perscribed me medication that helped with sleep and the restless legs I've been on it for a month.

Try increasing your magnesium

i would also check with the pcp cause it also sounds like diabetic nerve pain.

You should see your PCP. Leg pain and parenthesis (numbness and tingling) with walking could be vascular claudication ( a circulatory problem), neurogenic claudication (perhaps due to a pinch nerve in your spine),or possibly polyneuropathy. Unless you're deficient in vitamin B12 as a result of surgery, which your PCP would check amongst other things such as your TSH and sugar, I would skip the bariatric surgeon especially since this problem occurred preoperatively.

Best of luck to you.
