Hey Everyone!

I have surgery on Tuesday so I'm trying to get a little shopping done beforehand. What were your favorite puréed foods?

Thanks in advance!

I love making things from the squash family.  Be it butternut, acorn, or kabocha: I enjoy them all.

Cut them in half, remove the seeds.  Coat lightly in olive oil, add salt and pepper, and bake for around forty-five minutes at 350 or 375 until soft when pierced with a fork.

Pop it into a blender and add whatever you are allowed on your diet (milk, dairy substitute, broth, etc.), and puree.

I would advise that you go to the dollar tree and buy some of their two-ounce portion cups.  They sell them in a bag (ten for a dollar).

Good luck on your journey!  :)
