Surgery yesterday

I had my VSG surgery at 10am Monday (yesterday). 17 hours later I feel pretty OK. Pain in shoulders I was told is from the stitches in the diaphragm to repair my hiatal hernia. Some soreness in abdominal area, but not terrible. Had 2 doses of morphine after surgery, and only Tylenol since. Nurse here for vitals. Will update more later!

Glad you're doing well!  I have had a little bit of pain in my clavicle also, but it's not too bad.  I am amazed at my lack of appetite.  All I used to think about was food and now my doctor is on my case for not getting enough calories.  I am absolutely amazed at my lack of appetite.  It's like I have a new lease on life.
