I bought a Fleet (which is what my doctor recommended), and the box says that'll work within 1-5 minutes. I'll prop my feet up as well as I can; I've got a step stool I can use. I just hope it provides SOME relief. I've got plenty of flushable wipes to use.

Good luck.

As a representative of the sewer industry, flushable wipes may flush but they can build up and clog your sewer pipes and they cost your sewer dept a ton of money in increased maintenance as they plug up pumps, etc as they do not break down like toilet paper.

A friend had to spend a day cleaning out his sewer pipes after his daughter clogged up their pipes with these so called flushable wipes.

Some manufacturers are removing the word  flushable from their packaging.

Only the the 3 Ps should go down the toilet.  Poop, pee and paper.

Sorry for the soap box lecture when you have more urgent matters, hopefully, to attend to.

I kinda thought that but I wasn't sure make sure you pick up some milk of magnesia for after surgery but like I said you have to be careful not to dehydrate yourself.

I 2nd the enema.....pain meds will make things worse after surgery which will increase length of pain. Enemas suck, but at this point you dont want the situation to be worse after surgery.

Interesting. My surgeon insisted on having me use magnesium citrate 12 hours prior to surgery. Boy oh boy, did that clean me out!

Thank you so much for these links, Kathy. I totally forgot that I've been meaning to take pictures!! I don't have the Gas-X; do you think that'll be a huge deal?

Everyone is different. I would wait and see before spending money.  A lot of people go out and spend a fortune on all kinds of protein drinks and then after surgery can't stand them LOL

We are so excited for you and can't wait to hear from you
