you just had surgery.. you are in a healing mode.... plates are used for healing... yu body is in shoc****il you do more tests - try to relax... It most likely is only "healing crisis" . Body may go crazy , dehydration, etc etc...

Deep breathes. It is not a forgone conclusion that it is cancer. My daughter was suspected of having leukemia due to some of her blood work being a hot mess post Swine flu. Turns out her immune system did a proper freak out, but in the end she was just fine. I have also had a **** ton of cancer scares (I do have cancer) and can tell you first hand that what "could be" is not always what it actually is. Sending good karma your way-

I know that fear of having cancer b/c I had it in 2012.
That being said...as others above me have said you just went thru major surgery which throws our bodies into a certain degree of shock. Be glad your doc is being proactive & running tests to determine what is going on. It is probably NOT cancer.. (oh how our minds go beserk!)...but if it is you would know exactly what you are dealing with.
The worst part of having a serious disease is not knowing what to expect so having information will de-stress you to a certain degree.
But like I said...you are probably just run down...stressed out...and your body is 'acting out.' Try to chill...easier said than done!
