I used to LOVE coffee... now at 9 weeks out I am beginning be able to tolerate smelling it. Hope to be able to taste it soon. After surgery, the taste of anything sweet sickens me. I can't tolerate popsicles, which I loved before.  I totally crave fish and protein in general.

Totally! Almost anything with sugar is way too sweet for me, so I've reduced the amount of sugar I cook with (for the occasional dessert, etc) by almost half. I keep tasting a lick of my husband's ice cream or my daughter's cookie and am ALWAYS disappointed that they just don't "do it" for me anymore.

But the biggest thing is salt. Everything needs salt to me now. Soy sauce is my best friend. Now that I think about it, I hope that doesn't mean I'm deficient in something....
