Isopure question
If it's the premixed Isopure in the clear bottles, buy only one bottle. They all taste like ass. Really. You'll actually want a bottle of ass just to get the taste of the Isopure out of your mouth.
It does, however, have a high quality protein, and a fantastic ratio of protein to calories.

They also make a product (or used to at least) called isopure plus... same thing, but in smaller bottles that are portioned out nicely. I used this a lot in the first 2 months.

Honestly, all of the Isopure, both pre-mixed and powder, have a quite bad aftertaste. My dietician insists I stick to clear protein for my first week post-op, so I'm stuck drinking the pre-mixed bottles of Isopure. I have tried all the flavors, and so far the most tolerable have been the Blue Raspberry and the Alpine Punch. I did make the mistake of buying a 3 lb tub of the Isopure powder in Pineapple Orange Banana, because all the amazon reviews were great. Well, its horrible. I'll probably just try and use it up when I get to start blending my shakes with fruit again. I would definitely get some Nectar samples. Every Nectar flavor I have tried has been better than any other brand of powder thus far.
See the Alpine Punch was my first flavor and I thought it was AWFUL--it was like drinking Hawaiian Punch with a sour milk chaser. I drank it, but I wouldn't buy that flavor again. The Passion Fruit was much more tolerable, although I'm still not a big fan. Luckily, my surgeon and nutritionist are letting me stick with my Pure Protein shakes, which are much more delicious.

The Blue Raspberry Isopure was the least offensive flavor for me, but I still cut it 50/50 with water. I quite like their espresso powder, it is great for hot protein coffee (I mix a scoop with 4oz Fairlife milk and 8oz hot coffee) but has a bad aftertaste when prepared with cold liquid.
