I just got the phone call that my insurance approved the surgery. I am so grateful and excited. It is planned for 9/3/15. Now I have to get more blood work, and ekg, and see my primary MD for the clearance letter. I have been reading and learning so much on the site. Everyone is such an inspiration and motivating to me. Im so excited to be finally starting my journey too.

Omg my surgery date is 9/8...my surgeon won't submit paperwork to insurance until 8/20. I have 1 more dietitian appointment on the same day as my appointment with the surgeon lol...a long day it will be. At least it was only 3 months total until surgery date. Good luck!!!
