are protein bars soft foods???

Do you have a list of what is suggested at each stage? "Soft food" is normally things like scrambled eggs, soft-baked fish, or tuna salad. Look at the texture of those and compare them to a protein or granola bar-- not NEARLY the same!

If in doubt, call your surgeon to ask, but common sense says a big fat NO.

not a good idea to use these much.  we all have to find our "go to" list of foods to use while on the go.  a single serving greek yogurt or premixed protein drink is probably best.   later on when you are on to other foods, tuna in a foil pack or string cheese single wrapped are good choices.  don't push too fast when you are on soft foods.   diane
