I forgot to mention, liquid Tylenol only, no opiates at all, even when in the hospital.

I was off for 2 weeks.  The second week really helped adjust to new tummy and educating myself.  Good luck.  This has been the best decision.

You will get a ton of different responses. I had a week off and I was more than ready to go back. I was a little stir crazy midweek! With that being said I do work in office and I'm not doing anything that is physically crazy.

I'm being sleeved on August 5th and plan to be back to work on the 17th. I have a desk job, so I should be fine, but they know I'm having major surgery, so if I end up needing more time, I'll take it.

My surgery was on 1/14/15 and I returned to work on 1/26/15.  I felt great just a little tired.  Just follow your doctors instructions and don't over do it!
