4+ years post VSG, pain after eating

For the last 6-8 weeks I have had a pain/cramping under my breast bone after eating 3-4 bites. Doesn't matter if it is soft (yogurt) or chicken breast, doesn't seem to be affect by texture.  Once in a while the pain travels to the right but I don't have a gallbladder so I know it isn't that. Due to the pain I stop eating after 3-4 bites, but an hour later I'm hungry again.  This creates this evil cycle of eating a couple bites every hour and I've gained back about 20lbs since this started.

Anyone else have a similar problem or know what could be causing this?

When I called my surgeons office, all they seemed concerned with was that I hadn't been in for a vitamin level (malnourish panel) in over a year.  That is all they ever seemed to care about when I did follow up, my early complaints about constipation right after surgery where glazed over and they kept trying to push the mega does of D3 at me.  Really not thinking this is a vitamin issue, and they give the impression that, that is their only concern.

Call your regualr Dr.  This is likely something unrelated to the surgery.  Good luck and keep us informed!

What about fluids? You might want to search "stricture" here on the OH forums and see if that sounds like what's going on with you.
