I think this varies for everyone. Right now I try to stay under 20. Some days I get up to 40 and other days I barely get 10. I just try to keep them low for the most part. Sorry I couldn't be more help! I was never told a definite number.

It depends on how long you have been out of surgery and what your plan calls for.  Right now 10 months out and 1,200 cal per day I shoot for 37 grams per day.

I've always heard on here if you're in the losing phase still to keep it below 50, my nutritionist said under 100 but I try to keep it below 50, which is hard for me but I found when I can keep it below 50 the scale keeps moving.

I have never counted - always had some form of carbs daily, oatmeal, triscuits - healthy carbs during weight loss - and now have both healthy and unhealthy carbs in my day to day eating....Fortunately, they are not a problem for me.

Under 50 is what my NUT recommended after 6 months out, under 25 before that.  She also told me not all carbs are created equal.  The guidance was to focus on whole foods and real food, rather than processed.

She did up my carb count a bit to take in my exercise regimen.

Many on here keep it under 40. I had blood sugar issues and do best between 100-150, but spaced out. The idea is not to overload your system triggering an insulin influx that in turn triggers cravings and such. Not all carbs are equal. Stick to the green leafy variety, no processed food, low on the glycemic index.
