Now the wait begins

I had my initial appointment with my surgeon in March. I have been working on all the requiremnts since then. I had my follow up appointment with my surgeon today. Everything is completed and will be submitted to the insurance. Now the the waiting for approval begins. I think its more stressful because I was denied 3 years ago. This is new insurance and I did everything they requested.

I hope you don't have to wait too long, and that it is good news this time.

If denied make friends with the surgeons nurse and ask her to find out exactly why and appeal.  In the years after my surgery I have heard of many many people denied who appealed and was then approved.  Stick with it.  Cant wait to hear all your success stories.  Its a new beginning!

I'm in the exact same position. I am ten days out from my scheduled surgery date and I am biting my nails waiting to hear back from my insurance. I did everything the office told me to do, so hopefully they will call with the good news very soon! Good luck to you!
