Anyone try high protein peanut butter

Hi all!  Just wondering if anyone has tried the high protein peanut butters?  I've seen a few on Amazon and just wondered if they are worth it.  Most have around the same carbs as regular peanut butter (the SF kind) but more protein.  I think one was called whey peanut butter. There were ones by Nutty by Nature, Buff Bake and PB28.  I like to use PB when making protein shake "cookies" or "fudge" and figure if I can get in more protein the better--but the stuff is expensive so I don't want to waste $$$$.  Thanks!

I used PB2 while in weight loss because it tastes good and has less calories.  I make a chicken in spicy peanut sauce and a thai chicken thigh dish, both of which have peanut butter.  I substitute the pb2, and it tastes good.  Now that I'm in maintenance, I'll probably switch back to regular peanut butter, but the PB2 helped keep the calories down during weight loss.

best wishes,

Carol

Thanks for responding!  I use the PB2 as well.  What I am curious about is the "high protein" regular peanut butters on the market. I just happened to run across some on Amazon and wondered if anyone had tried them.  They sound good and if they pack a bigger nutritional punch they might be worth it.

I personally wouldn't pay more for extra protein in peanut butter. Why not just add extra regular protein powder or extra PB2 for more protein, that doesn't cost extra. Or if you just want extra protein have some more meat, that's your best protein anyway.
