I'm Such a Loser!
You are right to be careful of sugar. I added some carbs back in the form of wheat thins after reaching maintenance, and my weight started creeping up. I finally had to kick the habit and it wasn't easy. So I'd suggest being careful especially during weight loss because it can slow things down more than you'd expect.
I did have some carbs and sweets, but I'd only do it for special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries and vacations, and that worked out ok.
best wishes

Wow! You are doing great. I am so pleased for you.
I was a heavy-weight, starting at 385, and I got down to 157 in 18 months. I'm now a normal BMI and feel great. I never imagined the surgery would be so successful. You can do it, too!
I wish you the best!
