pre op food money by the 28th

I'm a little bit nervous I'm scheduled for my surgery on the 8/12\2015 and I have my pre op appointment coming on the 28th at which time I'm supposed to have $355.00 I've been off work since February because I hurt my knee slipping and falling at consumers energy.  My unemployment is done I have no means of getting the money aside from asking for help from family and friends.  I have faith in God everything is gonna be ok.  I'm just nervous because of the what ifs that keep running through my head.  I have to get the money not getting it isn't an option.  

Thanks for reading my post this most of the time is the only place where people really understand I love and appreciate the posts and advise and support everyone gives eachother.

You may be able to push your surgery date back. If money is tight, it might be a smart move, since there will be surgery-related expenses post-op. Copays for followup appointments and lab work, vitamins and protein supplements, new clothes as you shrink out of your old ones.

I have considered that for sure I've been waiting for so long I really didn't want to have to wait more but I'm praying my family pulls together to help me they know how important this is to me and for my health I just am feeling nervous and I know that everyone here is so supportive of each other because they either have lived it or are living it.  Sorry if my post seemed like I was asking for money I'm not I have people in my life that I know will help me if i can't make up all the money before thanks for the reply and idea.

My older brother called me today and informed me all my brothers and sisters have put the money together for me I'm relieved! I have to admit I was worried!
