After Surgery...when did you go back to work? What kind of work?

I am an elementary teacher, and had it done over the xmas break. I went exactly 14 days. I had my 5th graders assist with lifting, and overall had no problems at all. Expect to be more tired than normal though. You should have plenty of energy to get through your instructional hours, but I was going to bed much earlier than normal for a time. If at all possible, set up your classroom prior to surgery.
