Any tips or info that a newbie should know?

I have officially started this path with my surgeon. I had a lap band in 2007 and they are scheduling my surgery now to have that taken out. 6 months after that if my insurance approves then  I will get my sleeve surgery. I am hungry for any info or tips i can get! please and thank you!
