Gwen, I hope you travels went well and things go as ok as possible with his chemo. I met with my dietitian today and she wants me to increase my caloric intake due to the amount of exercising I have been doing. My dietitian is incredibly conservative and this was definitely not something that I EVER expected to hear her say. In fairness all of my other doctors have been saying the same thing but I have been ignoring them. I guess maybe I need to consider what they are saying and stop being so stubborn. :)
B: Protein Shake
L: Cheeseburger no bun
D: Morningstar chipotle black bean burger, 1 slice cheese and 2 strawberries
W&V: On track
E: I had plans to go to a fitness class tonight but work is still insane and I didn't make it out of the house in time. I am determined to walk tomorrow morning.
I'm still on puréed diet, but am adding in meat slowly - well chewed!!
B: vanilla premier protein shake with one half banana and two strawberries.
S: 2 oz ricotta cheese
L: 2 oz Korean bulgogi & 8 very small stalks of stir fried Chinese vegetables
S: 4 very small bites of hamburger patty; approx 1 oz
D: chocolate premier protein shake with 1 tablespoon PB powder
Possible S: 2 small bites taco meat (maybe- it's what the kids are having for dinner. Not really hungry right now, though, having had the most dense protein today since surgery. )
I was really happy the Chinese vegetables went down OK today. I stirfry 4 to 5 times a week. We eat a lot of vegetables! And I have been missing them terribly.
